This trail is just north of the town of Scappoose, about 3hrs south of Seattle and 40 minutes north of Portland. I went there for the first time a couple days ago and saw a lot of birds out. The local airport is also right along the edge of the trail so there was a steady stream of planes and helicopters passing by.
The trail is several miles long and it goes from the river to the mountains so there is a lot of variety. I'm definitely headed back out there again. Here are a few shots from the day.

Jeremy, is that last bird a predator or a large hummingbird? You know, the big metal one with the wings on top?
Arline, its a new species of blue hummingbird, very prevalent in these parts!!
