    Alki Lighthouse

the, what looks like some kind of weather instrument, pole is unfortunate, but like the overall composition. The image does seem a bit underexposed, but since this is a sunset, not sure if this was intentional.

Puget Sound Hike Sunday Oct 16th, 2011

Weather permitting, anyone interested in a hike in search of fall colors? I'm still not in the best of shape, so this would have to be at a difficulty of easy to medium with a distance of 5-10 miles total. Anyone know of good locations and/or want to go? departure and return time is TBD...

HOLY SMOKES...Tried some portrait work =O

For my scenario, not sure how I would handle my wife hating photos I paid my friend to take. I'd never hear the end of it.

HOLY SMOKES...Tried some portrait work =O

Oohh. That's a thin line to walk. Paying a friend to do your wedding photography? Total conflict of interest. My wedding is fast approaching and I have several photographer friends, but I didn't ask any of them to cover my wedding.

HOLY SMOKES...Tried some portrait work =O

Had the bride paid the photographer for this coverage?

HOLY SMOKES...Tried some portrait work =O

I meant use the window light as your light source, not as your backdrop.

HOLY SMOKES...Tried some portrait work =O

looks like you placed the bride in front of a good light source. You should have used the window light.

    Nice! Thanks for sharing.

Brennan & Addison... and my super cheap backdrop.

+1 A great example where it's not about the gear or how much you spend.
