Great shots! I like the 3rd one best too, we all see hundreds 0f beautiful sunset photos so it's refreshing to see how light plays on other objects at this wonderful time of day.
Tillamook Rock Lighthouse is located between Seaside and Cannon Beach, Oregon. It got it's nickname because it is so treacherous to dock there. Several people have died there over tbe years. It is now a private Columbarium.
Don't know what these really are, but they were about an inch tall and growing out of some moss. Taken with a Nikkormat and 50mm lens mounted on extension tubes. And Kodachrome film of course! :)
One of the many smaller eruptions after the big one. Photo was taken on 7/22/1980 from Orchards, Washington. This was the 3rd eruption that day (late afternoon)
I've been waiting for this shot for a couple of years! There's about a two week window when the Rhodies are in full bloom at this spot near Hug Point along US 101. The real challenge is to get a day with blue skies during this window! :)
