Shortly after sunset Sunday (7-15-18), our moon and the planet Venus lined up to look like the mirror image of the national flag of Turkey. I took the photo with the 1Dx + 100-400L II telephoto zoom using the Monochrome setting with blue tint at -2 exposure compensation . I may drag out the super telephoto setup later tonight after the sky has darkened.

I went back outside and took shots with the 7DII + 500L telephoto + 1.4x teleconverter.

Moral of the story: I'll leave the astro photography to John.
