wood ducks are normally fairly timid, and will usually swim away when people get close, but this little lady was just resting by a lily pad, and didn't seem to mind that i was taking her picture... 40D, 400mm, 1/640 @ f/8...
She's lovely, Rocky.
The clear reflection in the still water makes an especially beautiful photo. Thank you. C.

I like it....nice and crisp and the reflection is great. If it were my shot I might clone out the lilly pad on the right....it's a little distracting to me and I would want to see how it looks without it.
