This was shot from the 11th street bridge on Commencement Bay.
She is on the south side of the bridge. From the bridge, you really can't miss her.

when she was new, she was the pride of the fleet. i remember as a kid watching her ply the waters across the sound, thinking how sleek and modern she looked...
 
we used to call her the Silver Slug.... not very flattering, but she did kinda look the part! :D
 
The history says she should not even be around any more.
How she has stayed in one piece and not been scrapped is a miracle in itself.
In just a few short years, the hull will be 100 years old.
Will she make the 100 year old mark?
Only time will tell.
