Took a trip up to see how the guys were doing at elk camp, no hunting for me this year. They were all out in the woods as I expected so I had a chance to get some photos before sunset.

Lovely photos. Sorry you aren't able to go out, but I suppose the elk are happy about that :)
 
All the elk are happy except for the one I almost hit in the dark on the highway coming home. I think he left a few droppings on the center line.

Another two from above the valley at the northern edge of the Mt St Helens blast zone...
