Good shot. The green heron is one of those birds that is in the area but hard to find.
It was truly the year of the green heron in the PNW as a pair at Sprague Pond in Lynnwood had four babies.

Several youngsters also down along the Duwamish, as well as the Boeing Ponds in Kent... and of course there were a couple of very cooperative specimens hanging out at Juanita for a few weeks in July.
