this is a shot i took a bit over a year ago, but it lends itself well to "fiddling with", which is exactly what i was doing this evening... a touch of Orton, some lighting effects to make the road itself appear brighter than the trees on either side, and voila!

Very nice, and cool effect! Reminds me of that fellow who used to do "Happy little trees" on his painting show.
