I went to Kenmore Camera Friday afternoon (7/21/17) to order some prints for our annual photo exhibit in conjunction with the Puget Sound Birdfest at Edmonds. Kenmore Camera is a corporate sponsor of Birdfest and this year will have a table with an Olympus factory rep present.

While at Kenmore I tried out a used macro lens I had seen on their website. http://kenmorecamera.com/p-54087-used-canon-ef-mp-e65mm.aspx

I took these uncropped photos hand-held with my 5DIII and no flash.

1/160, f/8, ISO = 25600, focal length = 65mm.

The lens is one of those pieces of photo equipment that is highly specialized and totally impractical for me.... but it sure would be fun to play with it.

Very cool! I don't do macro either, to speak of, but you're right... it can definitely be fun to play around with !
