Okay, so I may be going overboard just a tad, but I had such a hard time getting close enough to these little guys for a decent shot till I moved, I suppose I'm sorta making up for lost time... ;) The overcast got a little brighter today, so I went out to see what I could see, and on the way home saw this kestrel sitting on a power line. The light was horrid (I hate "white sky"!), but this little gal let me get close enough for decent shots even with the lousy light. Seems all the kestrels I've seen are females... wonder where the guys are? Out having a beer while the Missus hunts for supper, probably. :p 600mm, 1/800 @ f/7.1, ISO 1600, +2.33 EV...
