went down to the Edmonds marsh this afternoon, met up with Bill and Daren... not much going on, just they usual suspects way out on the mudflats. Bill and Daren had to leave, but i hung around a bit longer, and was rewarded with a pair of least sandpipers (i think... they don't appear to have the black legs of the western variety) foraging in some real nice light in the little "pond" about 40 feet from the boardwalk. i took multiple shots over about a ten minute span, whenever they came out from behind the grasses.

Good shots. Sandpipers seldom appear in that little pond as it is very close to the boardwalk. You were very fortunate to catch them there.
