Seaside and Astoria are a couple of interesting towns along the OR coast. There are about 1.5 hours from PDX. My family and I were up there over the weekend for a short trip so I figured I'd throw a few photos up here.
In winter or spring you can bet on some rain and clouds for the most part but its still a fun place to check out. And the crowds are minimal, unlike in the summer.
Most of these are photos of my daughter and I on the beach or the bridge in Astoria.
What a great sky to work with. Really gives an epic feel to a lot of the shots. Glad you shared these, Jeremy.

first shot is nice, second needs the horizon straightened. i quite like the one with the broken sand dollar...
Nice shots - the skies this time of year are great fun. October is also a wonderful time to visit the Oregon Coast (if you can get around school schedules) far fewer tourists and great weather to photograph. I love the shot of the Astoria Bridge in particular, it is an epic bridge to cross and you captured that feel nicely.

Thanks, do you mean straightened or leveled? Its not level on purpose and its also not straight because of the lens distortion (18mm on FF). I'll have to adjust for the distortion of the lens next time. Thanks again for the input.
