a few more from my visit to Mt Rainier a few days ago... i like the clouds at the top of Edith Creek... adds an element of mystery...

All nice shots but the first one jumps out at me and is the one I like the best. Maybe it's the colors of the rocks in the water.
 
Can you tell me where the first photo is taken? I know it's Edith Creek but I haven't had much luck figuring out exactly where . . . I've seen other photos taken in the same area. I think it's east of Paradise??

Climbbike, this was shot from the bridge over the creek, right above Myrtle Falls. it's about half a mile up a paved path from the lodge... real easy to get to. i think it's east, but there are signs all over that tell you how to get there.
