yesterday's little forked horn buck with does was a nice surprise. This afternoons buck was an even better surprise considering it was downright pouring and he was interested enough in the does I was able to get some decent shots of him. His neck is really startting to swell up, the action in the next week should be good if I can keep track of him.
Then he turned and walked off just as I fired the shutter for what was a great side angle on him. One of the larger bodied blacktails I've seen in quite a while.

What lens are you using for this.
 
Thanks Janice and Rascal. These were taken with the 400 2.8 IS from about 60 feet away. He didn't hang very long for me to get many shots and I ahve not been able to find him again.
