Just wanted to give an update. 2019 has been a great year into October. Union bay has finally calmed down and started to attract more birds back. Sadly the resident Osprey did come back in the Spring, but did not nest. They lost both chicks last year. Good news, I finally got those crafty Virginia Rails and even there chicks on film. Even Magnuson has been good for birds off and on. Looking forward to the winter birds in the Skagit. I have been fine tuning my 5DIV for the winter bird season plus my 7DII. Here's to frozen hands and very little light in the next few months.

I hope to see a lot of your photos here in the months ahead. Hopefully there will be some sunny days for trips up to the Skagit.
