went to an airshow at Paine Field this afternoon, got some shots of a couple of planes i haven't seen fly before... a P-38 Lightning and a Vought F-4U Corsair. the twin-engined P-38 is the type flown by Richard Bong, the top US ace in the Pacific theater, and the Corsair is instantly recognizable as the plane flown by "Pappy" Boyington and his "Black Sheep" squadron... these planes are from the Planes of Fame museum in Chino, CA. shot with the 7D and 100-400l lens at various focal lengths and apertures, 1/125-1/160 second in Tv mode...
