    what's KPAE? a lot of those look like the aircraft from the Flying Heritage Collection...

    KPAE = Paine Field

    FHC does visit a lot of these in addition to their free fly days on Saturday.
    This past weekend there were over 300 aircraft from all over the northwest during the 4 days at Arlington Flight Expo. Crazy to see some many all in one place

    ah, gotcha. yeah, i've been to a number of their free fly days, nice to be able to actually get a decent view of the aircraft without shelling out a lot of cash and fighting huge crowds...

    T-Birds in Tacoma this weekend, coming in some time on Thursday and most likely a full show run through on Friday afternoon.

    Went to the JBLM air show today.

    Wonderful show, huge crowd, terrible traffic and long lines. If you're going tomorrow (Sunday) show up early to try and beat some of the crowds. But it's a really good show if you can muster the patience!

    Oh, and as it says on the website, they do allow camera backpacks. When I got there, I saw a sign saying "No backpacks over 1 cubic foot" and I was wondering if I'd get hassled. They did inspect my bag, as they did everyone else's stuff, but no problem bringing it in. I saw plenty of other camera backpacks as well. Mine is fairly small, but I'm guessing it's over 1 CF.

    Today would have been the day. But I wasn't interested in the traffic. Have errands tomorrow. Next year probably go for the Friday practice

    The traffic totally sucked. The photos totally rocked.
