New lens!!

I have to say I love my Tamron 18 to 200, best feature I like is the "Zoom Lock" at 18 and dont get the lens creeping (no pun) me out.

Snuffy, how long have you had the lens? Is it as tack sharp as I am finding this one or are there "soft" spots I haven't come across yet?

I think its good and sharp, I will shoot some with it next few days and show you, But in my eyes I dont see the difference in cheap glass and good glass, To me it looks like my kit lenses do as well as my primes.

Arline, I went by the bridge that everybody likes to photogragh in Tricities Wa. the weather was just too crappy, bad lighting, try again tomorrow.. I guess if you are looking at just the grade of the Tamron lens result, it could have been anything, even a street scene..

Has anyone have or tried the new Nikon AF_S nikkor 18-300MM F/3.5-5.6G ED VR 2196?
