Log-in Problems?

A recent software upgrade seems to have confused the photo gallery and forum log-ins. It can result in you being logged out of the forum when you log into the gallery and vice-versa. You can still log back in of course, but it gets annoying.

I'm working on a permanent solution to the issue, but for now if you have that problem, here's how to solve it. Update: I think I found the problem and resolved the issue. Logging out and then logging back in should clear it up.

Go to the gallery, log in, then click "log out".
Come to the forum and click "log out"

Navigate to a different page in the forum so you don't have a problem with the page being cached, then log back in.

That should clear your cookies and get them back into sync in both the forum and the gallery. If not, try it again, and this time also use your browsers "clear cookies" option.

Also, I suggest logging in on one of the forum pages rather than the main landing page. It SHOULD work fine if you log in there, but I've seen it get confused.

As mentioned, I'll also keep working on a better solution.

I think I've got the problem resolved, though you may have to log out and then log back in to get it to work. It seems to be working now, I'll keep an eye on it and watch for any additional problems.
