Moving Images in the Gallery

From time to time I go through the gallery and do a bit of housekeeping. I check all the images in a category, and if I see one that seems better suited to a different category, I'll move it there.

When I do this, you get a note from the gallery saying "Your image has been moved" or something along those lines. Please understand that this is an automated notification. It's nothing to worry about, and it doesn't mean you've done anything wrong.

Many of the images can easily fit in more than one category. Don't worry about placing them in the "wrong" category, even if I feel that they should be someplace else, it's not a problem, and I can easily move the image. So just pick the category you think is best and that will be fine.

The most common situation is that I move an image from your "Members Gallery" to a different location. That just makes it easier for folks to find your image. Also, please be aware that even though it says it's been moved to a different category, it will still be visible in your Members Gallery section as well. All photos you have uploaded to the gallery show up in your Members Gallery, no matter what other category thay may be in as well.

Moved a few more images today, so some of you got those messages about "We felt your images were better suited to a different category"

This is just a bit of housekeeping, nothing to worry about. We certainly don't get upset when somebody uploads an image in the "wrong" category, as we realize that it's often a matter of opinion.

Also, most of the images moved were uploaded to the "Member's Gallery" category. We try and move most photos to another category, so they're easier to find. All images will also show up in your member's gallery, no matter what category they're in.

So if you got one of those notices, you can pretty much just ignore it. Thanks!
