I'm not one to usually shoot butterflies, but while waiting for the eagles to dive after ducks next to a lake these guys were fluttering around at my feet. So this is my version of a butterfly macro using the 400 and 1.4 TC combo..

Very nice, I really like the second one. It's got great "Bokeh", which is the softly blurred background for those of you who haven't heard the term. Tony's second shot is a textbook example of it, with the subject sharp, and the background so blurred you can't make it out at all. It adds a lovely color, while not distracting from the subject. Well done.
