Thanks for showing Ashland, there very few times I've been down there I've only zipped on by on the freeway and never stopped in. One of these years I want to get there for to arts/theater festival they have.

When shooting scenes like these where you have an overcast/broken but bright sky it helps to set your exposure compensation to about +2/3 to pick up details in the darker areas.

Hi Tony ashland is a interesting little town Jack Elam live in ashland and he would come to medford and visit the crew at channel 8 PBS and thats how i met him he would drink coffee in the brake room and was a very likable and would BS all of us.i just bought a new 22 inch monitor and it was to bright and i toned the photos down now i know it was indeed to hot so i think i have solved the problem. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Elam http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpa...0A15753C1A9659C8B63&st=cse&sq=jack+elam&scp=2 http://www.independent.co.uk/news/obituaries/jack-elam-548963.html
