my daughter and i went to Camano Island park today, just to get out of the house, and of course i took my cameras. got these shots of one of a flock of goldeneyes that were feeding on mussels near the boat launch ramp. i think in the last one he realized i was getting into his "bubble", so he scooted out away from the shore a little farther... very gray, dreary day (at least it wasn't raining!), so there's not much color... 40D, 400mm, 1/500-1/640 @ f/8...

Great shots. I especially like the last one with his sideways glance and the ripples on the water.
