A couple of photos of pleasure craft and commercial vessels on the Columbia River. These were shot from the beach in Columbia City, Oregon.

The race is on...

The cargo vessel won.

A bit too close for comfort. The ship and fishing boat were surprisingly close, and the long focal length makes them seem even closer.
