What a great idea - to have a NW region forum.

I grew up in Kirkland WA, but moved to Victoria in 1971 and love it.
My wife, Jan and I like to escape the rain and head for Mexico in our truck / camper for the winter. It might be nice to have a place to share "distant journeys" within this community.

In the summer we hike and kayak around Vancouver Island and the Olympic Peninsula.

Just got a new Nikon D90 with 16-85mm and 35mm.

I am looking forward to posting.
