I looked this up and its not a Goldfinch look at the beak

Yellow-rumped warbler. Their yellow rumps will show up in butt shots. They are arriving to spend the winter in the Puget Sound region. You will have many more opportunities for good shots once the leaves fall off the trees.

yup, female yellow-rump... also known as "butter-butt"... here's are a shot showing the yellow on the backside. this is a male, taken at Eide Road on 9/22.

thanks all haven't seen the bitter lately but I heard they have beavers there two lady's have seen the flat tails
