these little stinkers don't come up out of the reeds often, and seldom close enough for a really good shot, so we take what we can get... this little fella popped up about 50 feet away, announcing his presence - or perhaps eligibility? - to the world, and he stayed out in the open long enough for me to get of a few quick shots... 500mm, 1/2000 @ f/7.1
