went down to Juanita Bay Park this afternoon to try the new lens in some sunny weather. it was pretty slow at first, but picked up a bit later in the afternoon. there were some ringnecks hanging around, and i managed some shots, all with the 7D and Tamron 150-600. i can tell it's gonna take me a bit of practice to get the BIFs really sharp... tracking at 600mm is a bit touchier than at 400!
