Crafted at Leake Island in February 2015 with the original 7D. I just spent a couple of hours tromping thru the wet trails with not much to be seen. I put my camera in my car and was ready to head North farther into the Skagit. This guy just fly's and lands on an old post next to the parking area.. So I grab my camera and start taken pictures of this beautiful owl. Just him and I sharing a moment in time.
