Got this tufted puffin returning to its nest on Haystack Rock with a fish Saturday afternoon in Cannon Beach... it was at least 75 yards away (probably more), and puffins are not large birds, so this is severely cropped, but I was thrilled to get shots of one at all!

The 7DII tracks very well. When it came out, Canon claimed it had their most advanced auto focus system.

Yeah, the AI servo definitely does a good job. I recall they basically lifted the AF technology from the 1Dx and put it in the 7D2. This was just at extreme range even for the Tammy at 600mm...
