Very nice! Interesting color on his eyes and the blue tinted feathers near them.
 
I LOVE OWLS!!!! This shot is beautiful and love the expression you caught...it was like he was all posed waiting for ya...a MUCH deserved photo of the day :)
 
I have to confess.. it was a captive on exhibition in a shopping area of York. I had to clone the tether out.
 
What a cute little guy. Is this a crop of the original image? If so, consider trying a crop with him in the lower right corner leaving some room in the upper left for him to look into. We don't need to see that much of the stick.

Do you know what kind of an owl it is?
