all the smoke from eastern WA has largely ruined any chance of decent landscape shots for a while, but it does make for some interesting sunsets...

The sunsets are beautiful, and the lighting interesting through the smokey filter, but not something I would want to shoot every day. I have already warned my family that the next person that complains about rain in Washington will be beaten summarily! I shot a wedding this weekend on the heaviest day of the smoke inversion layer and some of the shots, even though they were in midday, had the look of golden light but with a dirty gray sky. Still got some beautiful shots but Randy and I had to learn how to work around the unusual lighting. (Not to mention heat, humidity and poor air quality.)

Give me back my Evergreen State!~
